How are alerts classified in Beacon?

12/29/2025

Beacon presents alerts through a multi-layered classification model designed to support fast and accurate decision-making. Each alert is categorized based on the detected threat type and associated with relevant assets.

During classification, factors such as the number of affected accounts, asset criticality, timing, and likelihood of recurrence are evaluated. Alerts are then grouped into low, medium, and high risk levels.

This approach enables security teams to prioritize effectively. Critical alerts are highlighted, while lower-risk events are monitored without disrupting operations, allowing teams to focus on incidents that require immediate action.
