1. Applicability


1.1. This Privacy Notice (“Privacy Policy”) explains how DARK RADAR INFORMATION SECURITY INC. collects, uses, processes, stores, and shares your (“User”) data through its website located at https://darkradar.co/ (“Site”).

1.2. By accessing or using the Site or any part thereof, the User agrees to be bound by this Privacy Policy.

1.3. Dark Radar may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updated version shall become effective upon publication on the Site. If any material changes are made that significantly affect the processing of personal data previously collected, Dark Radar will endeavor to notify Users in advance through the Site. Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Where required by applicable data protection laws, User consent will be obtained for material changes.


2. Data Processed by Dark Radar


The data processed by Dark Radar may include data containing personally identifiable information (“PII”) as well as non-personally identifiable technical and operational data (“Non-PII”), within the scope of cyber threat intelligence activities.


3. Personally Identifiable Information


3.1. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) provided by the User may consist of information submitted through the Site, via the “Careers” section, by sending résumés to [email protected], or by contacting Dark Radar through [email protected]. Such information may include the User’s name, surname, email address, phone number, professional background, and any additional information provided through the “Contact Us” section.

3.2. The User is not under any legal obligation to provide personal data to Dark Radar. However, failure to provide certain personal data may prevent the User from accessing or benefiting from certain services offered by Dark Radar.


4. Data Collected by Third Parties


4.1. The Site may contain links to third-party services, websites, articles, links, icons, advertisements, videos, graphics, and/or other content (“Third-Party Content”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to Third-Party Content. Dark Radar has no control over the privacy practices or technologies used by such third parties to collect PII or Non-PII. Users are advised to review the privacy policies of such third parties before engaging with their content.

4.2. By clicking on a third-party website or service link, a third party may place cookies on the User’s device. This Privacy Policy does not cover third-party cookie practices, and Dark Radar is not responsible for such practices.


5. Use of Third-Party Data Providers


Dark Radar may use third-party data providers such as Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica to supplement and improve its business operations.


6. Use and Disclosure of Collected Information


6.1. Personal and Non-Personal Information may be used by Dark Radar and/or persons acting on its behalf for the following purposes:

6.1.1. Conducting daily business operations, managing records, fulfilling contractual obligations, and providing the Site and services to the User;

6.1.2. Informing the User about services similar to those previously used or of potential interest;

6.2. Dark Radar may disclose Personal and Non-Personal Information without prior notice in the following circumstances:

6.2.2. To verify the accuracy of collected information;

6.2.3. To prevent or investigate suspected fraud or unlawful activity;

6.2.4. Where there is a potential threat to the physical safety of any person or property;

7.1. Subject to applicable law, Users may have the right to access Personal and Non-Personal Information held about them.

7.2. Dark Radar may take reasonable steps to verify the User’s identity before granting access or allowing corrections.

7.3. Personal Data is retained only for as long as necessary for business purposes or as required by law and is securely destroyed thereafter.


8. Data Security


Dark Radar implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, or other unlawful processing. However, the User acknowledges that no security measure can guarantee absolute security.


9. Identity Theft Prevention


Users are advised to exercise caution regarding emails that appear to originate from Dark Radar and request personal information. Any suspicious emails should be forwarded to [email protected] with the subject line “Suspicious Email.”


10. European Economic Area (EEA) Users


10.1. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
Dark Radar processes personal data only where one or more of the following legal bases apply: Contractual necessity; Legitimate interests; Legal obligations; User consent.

10.2. User Rights Regarding Personal Data
Subject to applicable law, Users may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time by contacting [email protected]. Certain requests may be lawfully declined where permitted.

10.3. Transfer of Personal Data Outside the EEA

10.3.1. Personal Data is stored and processed on servers located within the Republic of Türkiye.

10.3.2. Dark Radar does not transfer User data outside the EEA or to third countries.

10.3.3. If such transfer becomes necessary, it will be conducted in compliance with applicable laws and following appropriate user notification.


11. Children’s Privacy


The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. Dark Radar does not knowingly collect personal or non-personal data from minors without parental or legal guardian consent.


12. International Storage


Users acknowledge that Personal Data is primarily processed and stored within the Republic of Türkiye. In the event of cross-border data transfers, Users acknowledge that data protection laws in the recipient country may differ from those in their jurisdiction.


13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction


This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kocaeli Courts and Enforcement Offices (Türkiye).
